Ice Cream Granola Pie

Ice cream granola pie and Home Sweet Honey granola bag
  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Blend granola in a food processor until fine.
  3. Mix granola with butter and press on the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie plate.
  4. Bake for 8 minutes and let cool.
  5. When cool, spread half the ice cream over the crust.
  6. Spread the chocolate or raspberry sauce over the ice cream and freeze one hour.
  7. Spread the rest of the ice cream on top.
  8. Decorate the pie with your favorite topping.
  9. Freeze until the ice cream is firm (about 4 hours).
Directions for Homemade Raspberry Sauce:
  1. Place 8 ounces fresh or frozen raspberries, thawed in a sifter, and hold over a medium-sized bowl.
  2. Scrape the raspberries with a spoon across the bottom of the sifter, trapping the seeds and letting the raspberry juice drip into the bowl. Continue until only seeds are left in the sifter.
  3. Discard the seeds. Pour the juice over your dessert, and serve.
